We have two volunteer opportunities available for the recently formed Community Benefit society, Acomb Community Energy.

We have developed the project to the stage where we now require capital funding.   This is likely to take the form of grants, a share issue and a loan.

The project will be built on leased land on the edge of Acomb village.

Once funded we will tender for the capital phase.  We need to assurances of a legally trained individual and a financially trained individual to steer us through this process.

Once operational we will hold regular meetings, ensure we are fulfilling our financial and legal obligations and use any surpluses for the benefit of the community.
