Role description
We are seeking a community manager to handle our social media presence and online marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and website).
You will also work alongside our General Manager to raise awareness of our project and attract customers and media attention.
You will also help mentor the young
beneficiaries we are training up to improve their employability and secure work
either with Cycling Minds or another organisation.
This
role offers a fantastic and rewarding opportunity to play your part in an
exciting community project and help improve the life chances of the
disadvantaged young people we are supporting.

How your time will help our organisation
As a not-for-profit, volunteers will be crucial to our success and ability to become self-sufficient and not rely on external funding. You will play an active part in improving the life chances of disadvantaged young people and increasing cycling uptake in West Northumberland. You will also contribute to boosting cycle tourism and revitalising the high street in Hexham and contributing to sustainable transport development and achieving Net Zero.
