Product makers work in our Herbology House in the garden on a Wednesday, from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. We come together for a break at lunchtime. Refreshments and cake/biscuits are provided.

Working days/hours for this role(s) is flexible and to suit the post holder since most tasks can be carried out remotely with guidance from the garden Management team.

Garden volunteers work together on a Tuesday & Wednesday. Hours are 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. We always match what you like to do with what needs doing and all equipment is provided. We come together to enjoy a light lunch (usually provided May-September) on a Tuesday or cake on a Wednesday. Enjoy breaks on the chamomile lawn, the meadow, labyrinth or the meditation hut At the end of the day all equipment is cleaned & stored in the tool shed

We are a national service with home-based Live Chat volunteers county wide and a call centre in Old Hatfield Hertfordshire. Once trained volunteers sign up for a weekly 4-hour shift comprising 3 hours ‘online’ followed by a debrief session with your supervisor which can lasts around half to one hour.

We are currently recruiting for volunteers for both a Monday and a Wednesday between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Our Furniture shop is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday, and Sunday 10am to 4pm. We would like people ideally to be able to commit to a regular shift of at least 4 hours per week.

The work by its nature is unpredictable so there may be times when you will not be actively working. The hours therefore are irregular, but we would expect a minimum commitment of 5 hours per month to include travel and report writing plus additional time for meetings, training and supervision.

Our transport service operates between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. There is no obligation to commit to a number of drives and the volume depends on the amount of clients requiring transport. A Volunteer Driver would typically be asked to undertake a journey once or possibly twice a week. The time this takes would depend on the length of the journey and the duration of the appointment.

Occasional volunteering is on an ad-hoc basis so there is no requirement to make a regular commitment. Hours will vary depending on the event.

We are happy to discuss any working hours that you'd like to offer.

Each session lasts 2 hours and we ask volunteers to arrive a little earlier so they are ready to meet their member on arrival, and to stay after the session ends to help with a brief tidy up.

We would expect that volunteers give one full day of their time to coincide with the timetabled trains which run at 10.30, 13.00 and 15.00 although some roles require an earlier start and later finish to prepare and settle the engines. The amount of days a volunteer would come to the railway is an entirely individual decision.

Hours will be 11am until 2pm each Wednesday, although we would welcome people who can volunteer 1 in every 2 or 3 weeks too.

It normally takes at least 4 hours per week to keep a smallish plot tidy and working. Those hours rise through the spring and summer and at harvest and fall back in the winter. As long as the plot is kept neat and tidy and productive it is up to you and the garden owner to decide how often you would like to visit.

We are currently open 10-2 on Tuesday and Thursday. Also 10-12.30 on Mondays for sorting items only i.e. we are not open for the public on Mondays.

Sponsors should provide accommodation for as long as they are able, but there is a minimum expectation of 6 months.

Hours of work are as follows: Term Time Saturdays- 10.45am-2.15pm approximately (3.5 hours) Easter Holidays and Half Term Holidays (Feb/May/Oct)- one day each week 9.30am-3.30pm. Summer Holidays- three days per week for five weeks- 9.30am-3.30pm

Working from home, this role is very flexible and just requires writing a few posts a week and some management of our website and social media content.

Will will be running rides up to twice a week, probably on Fridays and Saturdays. Our busiest season will be from March to October when we will need the most support from volunteers.

We intend to open Monday to Saturday (10am to 4pm) but obviously we will fit in around each volunteer's commitments elsewhere. Our busiest season will be between March and October so this is when we will require the most support from volunteers.

This is a flexible role. Ideally you will be able to give a minimum of one hour per month.
