Hexham Community Centre works for the benefit of the inhabitants of Hexham and the surrounding district, hosting activities and voluntary organisations to promote education, the protection and preservation of health, the relief of poverty, sickness and distress, and the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare, recreation and leisure time occupation with the objects of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.

About Hexham Community Centre
Hexham Community Centre, on Gilesgate, was founded in 1937 to serve the community of Hexham. We provide spaces for a wide variety of groups, keeping the residents of Hexham connected, active and healthy.
Alongside our room hires we also deliver a number of our sessions, to help achieve our key priorities to promote education, reduce isolation and relieve poverty. These activities include our Luncheon Club for older people, an intergenerational afternoon tea connecting members of the youth initiative with older people and own our Carpet Bowls Club.
