Desired Qualities

Communication skills, empathy, and discretion.

How your time will help our organisation

Rosie's Corner helps alleviate childhood poverty in West Northumberland. Your help will be needed as the number of families we help increases, something Covid already made 'real', and now the cost of living increases means we expect the numbers to continue to grow. The charity began in June 2019 and in June 2021 we opened our own space, so that we can welcome families to choose the items they need for their families. We stock children’s clothing from Tiny Baby to Teen, adults clothing in all sizes (including maternity), school uniform, shoes and smaller equipment items (highchairs, stairgates etc.) We offer a sourcing service for larger equipment items such as prams and cots) and recently we have begun working with the Hygiene Bank to provide toiltaries.

Practical Considerations

Any volunteers who are drivers would be welcome to help with deliveries in West Northumberland
