Role description
Volunteer Supervisors are part of a small team delivering gardening services to individual customers as well as organisations. The team also includes individuals with learning disabilities or mental health needs and a paid member of staff. The gardening teams carry out general garden maintenance, assisting with various bespoke projects and garden design. The team will spend whole or half days at sites travelling in Hextol transport to the sites from our Hexham base. There may be an opportunity for transport for the Volunteer Supervisors but those with their own transport are welcome to meet the team at the sites. There will always be a paid member of staff supervising and Volunteer Supervisors will be encouraged to work alongside individuals in a supportive way. This is a really rewarding opportunity to volunteer outside in some beautiful surroundings as part of a small and enthusiastic team.
